A few short years ago, I started a new position in marketing, which required me to put myself on social media and in magazines. As an introvert, I was not used to, nor did I like being in the public eye, but I signed up on LinkedIn to help market the business. I was terrified when I made my first video, but I did it anyway. In the video, I asked for advice on public speaking, receiving a lot of positive feedback. That single experience taught me that it is okay to step out of your comfort zone because that is the ONLY way to grow. I then began posting more frequently, but rather than posting all business, I started sharing my personal story speaking of what is important to me in order to build a personal brand: Smiles; Happiness; Kindness; Love; Healing; Helping Others...
My online following has grown to over 100,000 followers. I now use my social media to help others by spreading positive vibes and smiles. I support small and local businesses, so I began do marketing videos for small businesses, promoting their products getting them out in front of a larger audience.
